7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Driver - Based Marsh Leys, Bedford

Pay Rate: £40,638 based on contracted 48 hour week + Any Overtime (Paid breaks)
Grade: Collective Agreement

Shift patterns: Sunday-Thursday - 06:00 starts
Location: Marsh Leys, Bedford, MK43

We're now looking for a 7.5T Home Delivery Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

  • Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
  • Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
  • Regular completion of vehicle checks
  • Manual handling of customer products
  • Installing white goods - washing machines
  • Assisted by a drivers mate.
  • Multi-Drop deliveries between 15-45 drops
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
  • Hold a valid 7.5T Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience
  • No more than 6 points
